She was a feminist and political artist, and because of her work she made it safe for women to outwardly feel their passions and pain. She is known for her deeply personal self portraits.

All clothing should be hand washed in warm water and hung to dry, or washed on a gentle cycle. They can also be dry cleaned if you prefer, but you can absolutely wash them at home.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and will naturally tarnish when exposed to oxygen. Oils from your skin and the oxygen in the air are what accelerate tarnishing. Some people like the look of tarnished brass and the tarnish is actually a protective layer, but if you want to get the shine of the new brass, polish it with lime or lemon juice or concentrate.
