All clothing should be hand washed in warm water and hung to dry, or washed on a gentle cycle. They can also be dry cleaned if you prefer, but you can absolutely wash them at home.

Some people like the look of tarnished brass and the tarnish is actually a protective layer, but if you want to get the shine of the new brass, polish it with lime or lemon juice or concentrate.
